The mighty iPhone 7 is put through the worst possible endurance test: an actual acid bath!

The latest incarnation of the iconic Apple smartphone is meant to survive a quick dip in water - but YouTube user TechRax decided to take it one step further.

Using fluoroantimonic acid, which he calls “the most corrosive acid on the planet,” TechRax was surprised to see it took a crystallised form when added to his iPhone bowl.


Twelve hours later, the phone looked a little worse for wear - but more or less intact. So he added more acid, hydrogen peroxide, and sulfuric acid. Geez!
