The Internet Is Calling Out MasterChef’s New Judge For Shading The Show

Just hours after the announcement was made.

Trust Twitter users to find Tea about new MasterChef judge Melissa Leong within hours after it was announced. 

Melissa Leong has a long list of jobs on her resume; a food and travel writer, food media consultant, radio broadcaster, television presenter, MC and cookbook editor.

But she's also dabbled in opinion pieces of 280 characters or less ie: Tweets. 

@channelclam shared two screenshots from Melissa's Twitter account this morning that revealed Melissa wasn't always the biggest fan of MasterChef:

But if we’re honest, who cares?!? We’ve all said stuff about our fave shows and these tweets are from 2011 and 2012 - we’ve all changed a lot since then. 

I mean LMFAO was the “it” band for crying out loud. 

Network 10 announced that Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen will take the reins from George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston in 2020.
