Jennifer Lawrence officially engaged to Cooke Maroney
A rep for Jennifer Lawrence has confirmed to Just Jared that the star is engaged after accepting boyfriend Cooke Maroney's proposal.
The Oscar winner was spotted sporting a large ring on her wedding finger as she and her beau celebrated over dinner at Raoul's in New York on Monday, and now sources tell Page Six she and Maroney are planning a wedding.
"They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it," a fellow diner at Raoul's told the outlet.
"The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots."
Lawrence and Maroney started dating last summer (May18) after they were introduced by the actress' best pal, Laura Simpson. They went public with the romance in June before vacationing together in Rome and Paris in August. Jennifer took Cooke to the New York premiere of The Favorite in September, when the new couple rubbed shoulders with her pal Emma Stone and exes Darren Aronofsky and Nicholas Hoult, who appears in the film.
Jennifer, 28, also previously dated Coldplay star Chris Martin shortly after he split from Gwyneth Paltrow.
Her 33-year-old rumoured fiance grew up in Vermont, attended New York University and is a director at the Gladstone 64 art gallery on the Upper East Side of New York City. His clients reportedly include Lena Dunham's dad, Carroll, and Bjork’s ex-boyfriend, Matthew Barney.
