NCIS star Pauley Perrette shares cryptic messages about ‘physical assaults’ after leaving the show
“I feel I have to protect my crew, jobs and so many people. But at what cost?”
The much-loved character was farewelled last weekend (don’t worry, we don’t give away spoilers on how) and in the days that followed the emotional ep, Perrette took to Twitter to share some concerning messages.
In a series of tweets, the 49-year-old actress referenced crime, bullying and physical assault while questioning whether or not she should stay silent.
In her statements, Perrette alluded to the actions of a man that seems to have been involved with NCIS. She wrote that a “very rich, very powerful publicity ‘machine’” was keeping her quiet, however.
“I'm just left here, reading the lies, trying to protect my crew. Trying to remain calm. He did it.”
Who “he” is and what “it” was remain to be seen, but it’s clear there is something rather sinister at the heart of these tweets.
Her comments garnered a lot of attention quickly, assumedly driving the actress to make a statement about the studio and network CBS:
“I want to thank my studio and network CBS They have always been so good to me and always had my back.”
