The Trailer For The Jonas Brothers Documentary Is Here And You Better Grab Tissues

“There were moments I thought they would never speak to me again.”

The Jonas Brothers have been following a theme of sorts since they got back together in March this year: happiness.

The title of their upcoming album is ‘Happiness Begins’ and they’ve announced a documentary about their journey called ‘Chasing Happiness’.

The doco, as you may guess from the title, follows the brothers from their early success to their breakup to the decisions and emotions that eventually led them to re-unite and create their new album.

Basically, it will make you feel all the feels.

“We went on a journey to get to a place where we were ready to do this together again. We held nothing back. That’s what you have to do when you’re #ChasingHappiness,” Nick captioned the trailer on his Instagram.

The trailer reveals it was Nick’s decision to call it quits on the JoBros in 2013.

“What hurt the most is that it came from Nick, he is my best friend,” Joe says of the breakup.

He’s crying, we’re crying, then Nick says:

“There were moments where I thought, ‘They’re never going to speak to me again.”

And suddenly we’re crying more.

Phil McIntyre, the band’s manager says: “I think the brothers had to grow apart to be able to get perspective.”

We get that. You never knew what you had until it’s gone, distance makes the heart grow fonder etc etc.

Earlier his year Nick told Smallzy Surgery that “Australia is a big piece of the [reunion] puzzle.”

“At that point we had been filming the documentary for about two or three months, and we started to unpack everything [about the band],” he told Smallzy.

Chasing Happiness premieres June 4 on Amazon Prime Video. Check out the trailer below.
