Just thank you.

If there’s one thing we know to be true, it’s that Vampires make for some streamy viewing.

Want proof? Because we’re more than happy to provide it.

Anyway. The point here is that watching attractive supernatural beings on screen is a good time for all involved and you’re about to be able to indulge in that experience a lot more often.

As E! Online has reported, cult favourite shows The Vampire Diaries and The Originals are set to return to your television screens with news breaking that a spinoff series is officially in the works.

Apparently, the series will follow the stories of new students at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. This is said to include Klaus and Hayley's daughter Hope and Alaric Saltzman's kids, Lizzie and Josie.

The show is called Legacies and while we don’t have a release date just yet, one thing is for certain: the cast is going to be really ridiculously good-looking.
