We were right there with you guys when the first Aladdin trailer was released and Will Smith's Genie came out to play.

We were gobsmacked. 

We were well shook.

We couldn't look away from those weird Genie nips.

Basically, the Uncanny Valley had reared its ugly head and we kind of lost faith in the whole 'remake' thing.

Until now.

'Cause Will Smith just treated us to his rapped version of 'Friend Like Me' while on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and it's given us fresh faith.

The live-action remake stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. It will hit Aussie cinemas May 23, 2019.
