Love Island star Sophie Gradon’s heartbroken boyfriend found dead just days after her funeral
“I will see you very soon my angel.”
Aaron Armstrong, the heartbroken boyfriend of Love Island star Sophie Gradon, has been found dead just weeks after discovering Gradon had taken her own life.
The 25-year-old’s body was reportedly found just hours after he shared an emotional tribute to his girlfriend. He wrote:
“Just wish I could cuddle you all day miss you so much man Sophie not a minute goes by with out your gorgeous smile being a picture in my mind everyday we spent together was so amazing I need them days back…I love you princess.”
A family friend who did not want to be named spoke to The Sun and said, “We’re absolutely gutted. Heartbroken.”
Police say they were called to a property in Blyth, Northumbria in the UK where they found a body.
A spokesman said:
"At around 12.20pm today we received a report that a 25-year-old man had been found deceased at a property in Blyth.
“There is not believed to be any third party involvement and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.”
Friends and family paid tribute to Aaron and Sophie on social media
It is believed he was living in Newcastle but was staying at his parents’ house when he was found dead.
Just eight days ago Aaron shared a message on Instagram to Sophie saying, “I will see you very soon my angel.”
Friends of Aaron and Sophie believed the pair would marry, describing the couple as the happiest they’d ever been.
