While statistics can tell us a lot about an area, it’s the locals who really know what’s going on in a suburb.

According to Roy Morgan’s State of the Nation report, Australia’s inner city suburbs are getting safer – and our outer suburbs are getting more dangerous.

The survey asked residents across Australia whether they believe crime is getting worse in their suburbs.

The suburbs where the most people answered yes were:
