South Sydney Rabbitohs facing allegations two players exposed themselves to a woman
The woman reportedly has screenshots to support her claims.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting two “high profile” South Sydney Rabbitohs players reportedly left a 23-year-old woman feeling “violated and disgusted” when they allegedly exposed themselves on a Facebook video chat.
The report claims two players exposed their private parts during a “funny” video chat turned ugly.
The woman reportedly has screenshots taken from the chat to support her claims.
It’s unknown at this point who the players are, but the video chat reportedly involved several star players, but only two acted inappropriately.
The report suggests one player exposed his genitals while another flashed his bottom.
The publications writes that the incident occurred in New Zealand on May 26 with the woman also claiming to have phone records to show one of the players called her mobile following the incident.
The woman and the players reportedly came into contact after exchanging comments on Instagram.
She is dissatisfied by the official response from South Sydney when she first got in contact with her complaints.
The woman reportedly contacted the club via email which was received by Rabbitohs football department manager Brock Schafer on June 1. The response said her complaint will be taken “seriously”.
However, she never heard back from the club. On Friday the Rabbitohs announced they will respond to her.
Speaking with the Daily Telegraph, the woman said:
“I find it disgusting how these boys think they can get away with this crap.”
South Sydney is investigating why the woman’s follow-up complaints when unanswered with reports the emails ended up in a spam folder, which has been backed up by an independent contractor’s investigation.
A press conference will be held on Friday morning.
