Cardi B Cancels Performances Due To Plastic Surgery Complications
She needs to focus on “recovering and healing”
She recently admitted to getting a boob job and liposuction, and now Cardi B has been ordered to take time off performing after having complications from plastic surgery.
The rapper has cancelled two upcoming performances to recover, including her Texas show and appearance at Maryland’s 92Q Spring Bling Festival on US Memorial Day next week.
In a statement obtained by E! News, her rep confirmed that Cardi was “overzealous in getting back to work” and “didn’t take the time necessary to recover from her surgery”.
“Her strenuous schedule has taken a toll on her body,” the statement continues, “and she has been given strict doctor orders to pull out of the rest of her performances in May”.
Her rep concluded: “She’s very disappointed as she hates to let her fans down”.
While performing at the Beale Street Music Festival earlier this month, the 26-year-old admitted to going under the knife to bring back her pre-baby body.
“I should have cancelled today,” she told the crowd, “I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f—k up my lipo. But bitch I’m still gonna get my motherf—king money back, let’s go.”
Wishing Cardi a quick and healthy recovery!
