New Avengers: Endgame Posters Finally Confirm Who Died In Infinity War And Woah

There's a lot to take in

Just one month before the film is released, a bunch of new information surrounding Avengers: Endgame has been revealed, including the fates of some of the most-loved characters.

One of the reasons Endgame is so exciting is the thought that the remaining heroes will find a way to bring their friends back to life, seeing as so many of our favourites were turned to dust after Thanos’ snap at the end of Infinity War.

Earlier this week we were blessed with the news that the film will be the longest Marvel movie so far.

Yep, you might need to start practicing to hold in your pee for that long now.

New posters for the film have also been released, and while they’re all dramatic portraits of the characters with “avenge the fallen” across their forehead, there’s a very important difference between some of them.

Characters that are still alive at the end of Infinity War are in colour: Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Hawkeye, the Hulk, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, Okoye, Nebula, Rocket and Rhodey.

This also includes characters whose fates were unknown: Valkyrie, Wong, Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan.

Meanwhile, the posters of the characters that got snapped, as well as those that we saw Thanos kill in other ways, are in black and white: T’Challa, Star Lord, Dr. Strange, Peter Parker, Scarlet Witch, Nick Fury, Groot, the Wasp, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Mantis, Drax, Loki, Gamora and Vision.

The biggest surprise from the posters though?

The much-loved teen genius from Wakanda, Shuri, didn’t survive, as confirmed by her black-and-white poster.

Her death wasn’t shown on-screen in Infinity War, so fans initially believed she survived the snap.

Angela Bassett, who plays her mother Ramonda, had previously said in an interview with Screen Rant that both her character and Shuri are still alive after Infinity War.

You can see all the posters below.
